My desire to migrate to 7.3.2 has little to do with PRETTY and a lot to
do with FUNCTION. 7.2.x allows you to get your job done much like a
hammer will allow you to hammer 1,000 nails vs a Nail gun. We want the
reports, we want the tape sorting to work, we want so many things that
the pretty GUI can provide.

Don't allow the fact that the GUI looks great in dress numb the fact
that she is quite functional too. <Grin> /ALE

:-) I agree. I'm trying not to be biased just because it's new and
pretty, and I'm desperately hoping that it really is an upgrade and that
it's not all looks without any redeeming qualities. I don't want to have
to nickname the new gui "Paris".

[Wonders what life in North Dakota is like (besides cold) in the Winter]

Depends on where you are in the state, but if you've seen the movie
"Fargo" (which takes place primarily in Brainerd, MN and Minneapolis/St.
Paul), there are certainly scenes from that movie that capture the upper
Great Plains perfectly.

Winter in this part of the world has some similarities to summer in the
desert southwest. During the worst of the cold, we hurry from cars to
buildings to get out of the cold. That's somewhat similar to hurrying
from the airconditioned car to the airconditioned building in the
southwest because it's so hot outside.
