The first problem you may encounter is a licensing problem. With two jukeboxes,
I would think you would exceed the number of slots you are licensed on the
original. Not sure whether Networker would count just the slots or the number
of jukeboes.

Subject: [Networker] Two jukeboxes using same pools
Hello list,
my intention is to retire the old jukebox (LTO1 drives) and replace it with
a new box with LTO3 tape drives.
Until the retention period for the data on LTO1 media is expired I plan to
attach both jukeboxes to the Networker server.
All backups shall go to the new box, the old box shall be available only for
restore. I guess this should achieve this:
- label new LTO3 media into exisiting pools
- set all LTO1 media to read-only
Is there a flaw in this plan?
Can Networker handle media of the same pool in two jukeboxes in this way?
Thanks for your time.
