I just brutalized EMC's Networker Support team again.

It amazes how in regular life you get to learn the terms of words you
never thought you would use...

Take the term BONEHEAD. Some BONEHEAD on my network made an error in the
HOST file and derailed my backups.

What was weird is, my backups worked until I added a new server to my
backup mix. (Guessing networker caches information until a change,
/shrug)...

Anyway I used to work with Bernie's team, now I work with Zulfi's team.

I have to tell you when EMC decided to relocate me to a new team I was a
little put off. I was comfortable with my team. I liked them... They
were dependable, we understood each other. (Waving hi Wail, Srood,
Carlos, Sue, um... Carp who did I forget?)...

Now I have this "new team" led by of all things... A girl... A girl that
is so good, I will probably never get a chance to talk to her (/waving
Hi Debbie!) I was told about her leading the new team, but she is
getting promoted in September.

What is EMC's deal, they recruit great people, they train them and they
get promoted. Yeah I know it is the circle of life and a good life if
you are an EMC employee.

What is this rant about, I have NO CLUE... Where was I. Oh yes... Kevin,
no Tim, no Neil or was it Wallace, no now I remember it was ZAK that
helped me today. I read the error, he knew immediately what it was.

Doesn't that tick you off? Why couldn't I figure that out in like 2
minutes. <Grin> Here is a HINT ZAK, next time take your time, make me
feel like there is some small challenge there, you know allow me the
illusion that I am qualified to hold my job. <Grin>

Thank EMC NETWORKER TECH SUPPORT MANAGERs. From my perspective you are
doing a great job.

I would really like to take my first ever EMC training in Toronto, I
know I owe a few people a free dinner.

Semper Fidelis et Paratus! /ALE
