I've got a client that used to be used as a dedicated storage node. I
*think* that it currently only has the client software loaded, but I'm
not sure. In UNIX, I'd list out the components that were installed (e.g
pkginfo). Is there a way to do the same with Windows? All I see is
"NetWorker" in the add/remove programs listing, but it doesn't specify
whether it's the client software or more. Is there a file
(something.exe) that would be in nsr\bin if it's a storage node but not
if it's only a client? Is there another way to verify?

Look in the services list. You should see only the NetWorker exec there.
Task manager will show the same thing. Depending on your network configuration, you may even be able to "rpcinfo -p" the client from your NetWorker server, in which case, you should see just nsrexecd and perhaps other non- NetWorker
tcp/ip ports active.
