My understanding is that you can't back down from 7.3 -> 7.2 due to a
rebuild of the media database that is incompatible with 7.2. Page 23
of "NetWorker, Release 7.3, UNIX and Linux Version Release Notes" in
section "Installation and Update Notes" you can read:

"Cannot Revert to a Previous Release After Updating to Release 7.3

When updating to NetWorker release 7.2 or later format, there is no
way to revert to a previous release of the NetWorker software. It is
 a one-way conversion."

You CAN interpret this as there being a chance of downgrading to 7.2,
but not anything earlier than that. At the same time it pretty clearly
states that "Cannot Revert to a Previous Release After Updating to
Release 7.3".

Perhaps someone can clarify?

If it is actually possible it may be one of the options for us too
depending on what my colleagues feel about the matter (hi Oscar!).
