Another thing to make the developer aware of - /tmp is exactly what it
sounds like - temporary. By design, it is temporary storage. By design,
everything that goes into /tmp is supposed to be disposable. That is why
NetWorker doesn't back it up. There's not supposed to be anything of value
there.
