You can stage all savesets on the specific tape to an other one and then
delete and label the one without the barcode.

Subject: [Networker] Removing a barcode from a volume listing?

Hi,

Is there a way to change the bar code reported for a volume to a blank
or null?

I have a tape that I recycled with no physical bar code. I had "Bar code
reader" set to 'No' and "Match bar code labels" set to 'No', and no
physical bar code label was used on the tape (the old one was removed).
Ordinarily, that would be fine, but NetWorker will assign the bar code
from the old volume to the new one unless I first remove the old volume
from the listing. I meant to do that, but I forgot, and now the tape has
been written to, so I can't re-label it. If I don't have a bar code
label to match the actual new label on the tape, is there a way I can
remove the bar code that NetWorker reports for this volume? It must be
stored in the media database.

Thanks.

George
