I also felt interest checking our licenses and noticed that we have a similar
type of confusing license description. We bought a single instance license for
Exchange Server and it shows: "NetWorker Module for Microsoft Exchange
Server/11" in NetWorker Administration Console. However, the command line
binary "nsrlic" shows only one connection which eliminates doubts.

You may ask EMC Software Licensing for clarification of the issue. I would ask
them too.

I got confused by that too. It is a single instance license, so just count up
your entries and that's how many instances of MSSQL you can have.

Also, if there is any doubt, you can run "nsrlic" from the command line, and it
will tell you how many of each you have, how many are used, and how many are
available.

Hi, all:

In NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server/9,
what does it mean "/9"?

Thanks in advanced,
Juan.
