In which way?  In the library itself?  While in some ways it's nice to
have it sorted, it's not worth the effort... especially if you have
hundreds of tapes in the library.

I don't bother, I just use the import/export ports to pull tapes when
needed.  And I let the library stuff tapes in where it sorta/kinda
wants em.

It's like trying to use tapes in a sequential manner when doing
backups.  Don't bother.  Just generate the report(s) on which tapes
need to be pulled and pull those tapes.

If you're opening the library to hunt down tapes to add/pull, then I
guess I could see wanting to sort them, but even still, don't big
libraries have a large enough import/export slot to do bulk transfers?
