A-ha! Shyam, you have revealed my agenda: it did not seem likely to me
that Networker has the ability to ressurect a barebones client as the
client has no ability to house the Networker client software (no OS and
thus no filesystem, thus nowhere to install the "receptacle" client for
the restore). I hang my head in shame because, yes, I have used the list
to settle a petty disagreement.... I hope the chastisement is brief.

Hi,
NetWorker can't restore SYSTEM DB to a different system (than from where
it was originally backed up from. Save set ALL backsup system database
also.
we need to install the OS and rebuild program files (NetWorker client
program) and recover each savesets, manually each one of them.
