Do the clients have the 2nd NIC's name in the servers file? Have you done 
the usual checks on name reolution (bith ways long and short)? 
As I understand it the server network interface is used for the Meta data 
and the storage node is used for the real backup, so try putting the 2nd 
NIC in there.
