I've just got three HP-UX servers to include in my backup but these
servers have their databases on raw partitions.  Since we haven't
purchased the Oracle module yet I intend to use the rawasm directive to
backup the oracle partitions.  The volume group on the partition is
shared in a cluster and has three alternate links.  My problem is
whether to include the alternate links in the directive as in

 

    <</dev/rdisk>>

        +rawasm c1t0d2

        +rawasm c4t0d2

             ..

             ..

 

 

Or just to backup the primary path with

 

    <</dev/rdsk>>

        +rawasm c1t0d2
