Re: [Networker] Ideal Linux Configuration

Yes, 4 times a week. Mon, Wed, Fri are forced cleanings  (we use the cleaning 
tapes that only the L80 knows about) and once a week networker does a cleaning 
(4 drives on Sat an 4 on Sunday). Regardless of what Quantum and SUN/Storagetek 
say, I'd say that SDLT drives are good for about 20 hours before they need to 
be cleaned.

After a LOT of grief with the jukebox, that this was on of the few things that 
seemed to resolve "most" of the problems.

what is the firmware revision on your SDLT drives?    if you have less that 80 
then the drive's cleaning routine is buggy.
