Hi Mark

In Networker 6.1.1 the CDI option isn't available yet. Only more recent
versions (I don't know when it has changed, I'm using 7.2.1)
offer this option. It is to find in Media - Devices. It can be switched
on or off for each device individually.
As Stan Horwitz wrote, I would suggest also to check the logfiles
for possible traces about the problem.

Good luck
Rudolf

I hate to sound stupid, but I could not find the CDI settings. Where are they?
Is there a command line way to make the changes?

Turn CDI off (open the device resource and change the attribute "CDI" from
"SCSI commands" to "not used") Christo

We are having a problem with NetWorker where whenever we run a backup, even a
small one, it marks the tape full right away.

Any ideas?

Mark
