Unfortunately I can't move up to 7.1.3 yet because two of the client
servers are NetWare 4.11 servers. 7.1.2 was the last server that
works with the client for that version of NetWare. I'm hoping for a
band-aid until I can get those 4.11 boxes replaced. Thanks.
That's mostly not correct. 7.1.3 did introduce some major issues if
you're backing up any V4 client (NetWare or otherwise), but those issues
were eventually resolved and a patch for 7.1.3 was produced. The later
security patch for 7.1.3 rolled that fix in, so if you're using Legato's
security-patched 7.1.3, it shouldn't have any problems with NetWare
clients (that aren't long-standing, that is -- there are certainly lots of
problems with the 4.22 and 7.2 NetWare clients).
7.1.4 should also include the V4 client fixes. Whether it includes the
jukebox fix that was mentioned earlier in this thread, I don't know.
Anyone know if there's going to be a 7.3 NetWare client?
