Have installed Networker 7.3 on a Linux host including the Networker
Management Console.
NMC connection works properly when trying to connect to the Linux NMC
server on port 9000 on local LAN.
When trying to connect to same NMC server from remote LAN/WAN I get the
Networker 7.3 splash screen with the "Start" button. After pressing the
Start button, Java Web Start is launched on the Windows host and The
Linux NMC server is contacted for "latest version check".
Unfortunately this check fails and is reported by Java Web Start with
the error:
An error occurred while launching/running the application.
