New install of Networker 7.3 on Linux.
Scheduled backups of pre 7.3 clients fail
Existing client on WinXP at Networker 7.2.1
Executing (from the windows client) the command:
echo p | nsradmin -s LinuxNW73Server -p 390113
provides the expected results.
Executing the similar command from the Linux Networker 7.3 server to the
WinXP client fails.
echo p | nsradmin -s WinXPClient -p 390113
fails with the message:
nsradmin: RPC error: Program not registered
nsradmin: There does not appear to be a NetWorker nsrexecd server
running on WinXPClient.
Of course there is an nsrexecd running on the WinXP client.
When running on the Linux server the nsrexecd in -D9 mode, the following
authentication errors are reported:
