Does anyone have any insights on why that works? What are the downsides
of not having a striped recover? Is this a kernel/hardware/driver
problem on my end, or a Legato bug? If any of these change, how will I
know if it's okay to remove the no_striped_recover file? What's really
going on here?

There were all questions I asked the Legato support rep when we had this
problem, and I didn't get a good answer to any of them. Anyone?
