 There are also physical limitations to the block size as well. I have 
several Compaq SCSI cards that wont go above 64kb no matter what value I 
put into MaximumSGList. Using Adaptec cards fixed the problem.

If you are not yet at Win2k3 SP1 or you use the workaround mentioned
below, you may be limited by the SCSI/FC adapter setting MaximumSGList.
