I have seen this happen on Windows side, sometimes after you change server 
name and or IP address ( after initial instalation)-Make sure name 
resolutions and required networker components are working.
Other then that, it could be that installation might have gone correpted, 
you can always uninstall and reinstall the server portion without loosing 
any of the Db, i.e client\media and saveset info.
