One of the other things you could do is upgrade your current 6.1.2
Legato server to 7.2.1. After that migration, follow the steps out of
the Disaster Recovery Guide and perform a "Host Transfer" of your
licenses. Also, if /nsr is in a SAN, you could just re-zone it to the
new server and do a "host transfer". (This is at a high level...it's a
little more involved than that, but not too difficult.)

This way, you won't have to do any new configurations. Everything moves
over with the Legato migration.

I suggest that 7.2.1 would be a better choice.

Are you trading this in for a larger autochanger licence?

Yes you could certainly do this. You would not be defining the second
library as a jukebox, just as a DLT drive. You could possibly use one of

the eval jukebox licences from the media kit for a short time either.

Yes you can do this. You will have one or two things to patch up if you
are also using a new name, such as all the server indices being stored
under a different name, and things like server client ID. If you can, it

would be a good idea to re-use the name of the old server, but of course

then they won't be able to co-exist and run NetWorker on your network at

any time.

Will I have a problem with this since the tape drive is now

No, you can delete the old drives and autochanger, then jbconfig the new

one. No problem.
