Hi,

The whole restore reqd on our newly consolidated serevrs. This data 22TB (clone
tapes) from 12 different nfs clients and on 4 different backup srevers( LAN,
Sol 9, EBS 7.1 LTO I and II tapes). Now we consolidating to one ebackup server
and 4 storage nodes with DDS. We are planning to use tape restores to avoid
network congestion. We want to use scanner from storage node itself with
relocate option. Previously I did use scanner on backup serever, but never
tried on from storagenode. If it is possible from storage node(DDS) the logical
device addresses are too big, can we use that logical address
rd=phys-home1-1:/dev/rmt/4cbn in place of /dev/rmt/4cbn?

scanner /dev/rmt/4cbn -x /usr/lib/nsr/uasm -rv

Also is it possible to restore entire volume with scanner instead of individual
ssids or savesets?

Thanks,
Raghava
