By default they can as far as I remember as that is why when you do a restore
you may end up with same files with different cases.  This is enabled by default
(or at least it was).  To disable it you must set NSR_DISABLE_POSIX_CREATE=YES.
You can find this is release supplement.  I would assume this mean NW does use
POSIX-compliant API.
