We are using an EMC Centerra for compliance archiving. DiskXtender is the
software that migrates data from a disk spool to the Centera. It is used mainly
in software such as Legato's EMailXtender to migrate email to the Centera for
compliance archiving. Celerra is EMC's NAS so I would assume these licenses are
there to provide an NFS/CIFS front-end to the Centera (normally the data can be
put/retrieved only through an API).

Subject: [Networker] DiskXtender UNIX/LINUX Data Manager for Centera Edition
Hi all:
Anyone using DiskXtender for Centera?
>From comercial peopel I have the following licenses.
LIC-001342:
DiskXtender UNIX/Linux for EMC Centera Gateway 4TB Capacity
and
BIC-001352:
DiskXtender UNIX/Linux Data Manager for EMC Celerra for EMC Centera
What is this Gateway? I don´t see any place in documentation talking about
gateways. It´s possible to explain me what it is?
Thanks in advanced,
Juan.
