Hi Patti

A source in NetWorker Product Management asked me to share that NetWorker
7.3, targeted for the end of 2005, will indeed support NetWorker server and
storage node for RHES 4 and SLES 9. Support for SLES 9 client is already in
the NetWorker Software Compatibility Guide and support for RHES 4 client
will begin soon.

Hope this help!

I've just checked the Legato Compatibility List which was last updated
August 1, 2005. There is still no mention of RHEL4. I have an all
RHEL4 server system on Dell platforms under development. They will be
using Networker. Normally, I would not be terribly concerned about the
timeline, but the production system rubber bands and paper clips are
quitting sooner than desired. Monies will not be spent to hold it
together and the RHEL4 system development is being pushed harder to get
operational. I need the server software, not just the client, to work.

2 questions,
1 - Is Legato going to certify RHEL4 anytime soon?
2 - In the meantime, has anyone gotten RHEL4 & Networker server to play
together?
