Olaf,

         Is the problem you are referring to that nsrd is reporting
"no tape label found" when you know darned well that there is a label
on the tape.   And is this a Linux machine?   If yes, I can relate the
long long history of this problem and how I work around it.   (This problem
is with AIT drives but I don't know if it is also true for other types.

Thanks for this information! OK, then some behaviour must have changed.

But this is not the problem, even auto-recycling fails:

Could it be that this is a bug? Hmm, I will delete the jukebox and reconfigure it.
