This procedure is for changing the server's name. I am trying to change
the client / storage nodes name. The original client name was addiw2 the
new name is addiw1 the original addiw1 was turned off and the name
changed. when i try to create a device using jbedit the name defaults to
the original name of addiw2, I think that there was a step missed by the
system admin that made the change. But in the interest of being thorough
I thought I would check with all of you.

I was looking for some information about moving NetWorker Server to a
new UNIX host. I got a reference doc to move NetWorker Client, Server
etc. at legato Technical Bulletin.

Did you follow the procedure to move the NetWorker Client as documented
in Legato Tech bulletin: 138?

Hello all.

Server: Solaris 8 NetWorker 7.1.3
Client/S Node HP UX NetWorker 7.1.3

I have a client/storage node that is HP UX 11. Its system name was
changed yesterday but for some reason when i run jbedit and try to add
the
tape drives to this system the drives come back as the original name.
My
assumption is that the system was not configured properly. Any thoughts

on this?
