[Networker] Waiting to mount ejected tape

Hello -
Why would Networker wait forever to mount a tape that was cloned to,
from disk, and ejected? Once ejected, are there any additional steps to
let Networker know not to look for that tape any more?
AIX 5.2
Networker 7.2
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
