F actually has a lot more files and a little more used and it still took
considerably less time with the saveset restore.

  zeus: E:\    level=full,     55 GB 09:04:57 214536 files
  zeus: F:\    level=full,     57 GB 09:19:41 343156 files

Okay, but do they have a similar number of files?  Often the number of
files is more of a factor than size is.
