We have two new Linux servers that we are adding to our Legato configuration.
We have a Scalar i2000 with 10 LTO2 drives (2 of which are new to the scalar).
Linux reports that it can see all 10 drives. The Legato inquire command sees 7 drives and times out on the other 3. Legato knowledgebase says that the Linux configuration is incorrect. Has anyone seen this error?

For those last 3 drives can you access them from Linux outside of Networker? Try putting a tape in the drive and using the mt command for example or actually sending some data to the tape with tar.

If Linux can manipulate the drive/tape then chances are it's not a base OS problem.
