Inventorying all the slots does take a long time. That's not my complaint
though. What I have been
doing is
(1) put the tapes in the load ports,
(2) use 'nsrjb -d' to load the tapes into availabe slots,
(3) find what slots those tapes went into (with a nsrjb -C command and grep *),
(4) run 'nsrjb -I' and 'nsrjb -L' to lable them.

Why do I have to go through this? Our windows side uses CommVault for backup
with same type of
tape library, they never have to go through this. The only step they do is to
load the tapes into
load port, and all new loads will show up on the software side.
