Mailbox backups still (I think) require exporting to .pst files, which means
you need to have space available for them. We just do database backups.

Our setup is like this:

2 client setups. both have the same name one for the os, one for exchange.

save sets for the os client:

C:\
D:\
[any other partitions]
SYSTEM STATE:\
SYSTEM DB:\
SYSTEM FILES:\

save sets for the exchange db client:

MSEXCH:IS
MSEXCH:DS

and you have to fill in the backup command on that client setup page as
"nsrxchsv.exe"

We are just in the implementation stage of a Networker 7.1.3 install.
We have the Exchange Server Module. I am not the Exchange server
administrator, but I would like to be able to tell him what the best
approach is to back the server up(by mailbox or databases). What do I
need to specify in the Save Set window? We definitely need to be able
to restore messages quickly and do disaster recovery quickly.

We will be doing a disk backup and then staging to tape.

Thanks,

Jon
