When I search for Legato solution ID: Legato7083, I get a message saying
it doesn't exist in the knowledge base. That's what has me wondering if
this is still really necessary.

Hi,
As a matetr of interest,
I have found that this "anomaly" / bug / "feature" still exists (i.e.
unchanged) within Windows2003. Hence I have become quite familiar with
setting the MaximumSGlist parameter of the SCSI cards ...
For those interested: Check out Legato solution ID: Legato7083 for a
better understanding of the issues.
Regards,
Riaan
