Subject: [Networker] Can not pass variable to mminfo command

Dear Experts,

I was trying to write some shell scripts to produce custom Media Report
with help of "mminfo". But I am unable to pass variable to mminfo. I am
new in scripting and don't have enough idea to recover from the problem.
Can anyone help me?

The command I am using, looks like this:

mminfo -q 'savetime>=$newDate1' -r 'pool,volume' |grep "GroupName"

*** newDate1 is the variable which contains input value given through
command line argument.

I get error as follows -->

mminfo: invalid value specified for `savetime'

Thanks & best regards
