In regard to: [Networker] linux client install problem (7.1.3), Dellwo,...:

I get this error when installing 7.1.3 on a Linux box.  I looked at the
release supplement but didn't find reference to this error.  Anyone know
what I'm doing wrong and how to correct?

# rpm -ivh lgtoclnt-7.1.3-1.i686.rpm

It's a long-standing bug in their RPM, I think.

Try this:

        RPM_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr
        export RPM_INSTALL_PREFIX
        rpm -ivh lgtoclnt-7.1.3-1.i686.rpm
