In regard to: [Networker] Can NetWorker send a page as a notify?, Winslowe...:

Has anyone got it working by some means only using Legato
on Solaris? (that is, not involving any pd (public-domain)
freeware like BB - using freeware here is verboten)

Your Solaris box includes sendmail and a mail client (like mailx).
Your paging service very likely provides either a mail-to-pager
gateway or a web-to-pager gateway. If that's the case, it should
be pretty simple to use just vendor-supplied tools to send a page.

So, the answer really depends on what your pager/cell-phone service
provides.
