Not exactly, but as I understand it, after you answer "2" for auto detected
SCSI device, jbconfig essentially runs inquire. We did have a problem on a
Solaris server where inquire caused a system reboot.

The culprit was lus.conf (/usr/kernel/drv/lus.conf on Solaris). It was
totally hosed, and once we got it replaced the problem was solved.
Unfortunately, I don't think this helps much with your Win2k installation,
but you might want to check if inquire also causes a reboot.
