I guess one other slightly "hackish" option if you were doing one of the
groups rarely (say once a month, or on demand), is to run it as normal.
Then pull the list of savesets in that group and override their
browse/retention via script after the fact.

   nsrmm -e <retention time> -S <saveset>
   nsrmm -w <browse time> -S <saveset>

I used to use that method back in the 5.x days when the rentention
period was even less functional than it is today.
