Somen,

Unfortunately I can't recall if the report can tell you exactly when the groups
started and finished, but I'd check the online documentation at www.legato.com
because it details out pretty well the abilities of the tool. As for creating a
report dealing with the amount of data backed up, here's one.

gstclreport -u administrator -P administrator -r "/Reports/NetWorker Backup
Statistics/Group Summary" -v chart -c bar -a "Amount of Data" -x html -f
"C:\DailyBackup Chart" -C "Save Time" "1 day"

This was an example of a chart style report.

David

Hi David,

Could you help me with an example, what if I want to generate a report
daily with the Group start and finish time and the amount of Data backed
up by the Group? In this case what would you do?

Thanks

Somen

It requires the full path name, like you described below. Alos be aware
that it will complain if you try to create a report that doesn't exist
in the path you described. One path ends with "Statistics", the other
with "Status", and the reports contained in each do not always have the
same names.

Hi,

Has anyone used the command line to generate reports from legato
Management
Console? I am a bit confused about the syntax on the -r reportname
(The name of the report to run, or full path name like
"/Reports/Users/User
List")

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
