The backup processes read that file and I believe the Administrator
program does also, but the user program does not for whatever reason.
Glad to help.

Yoyo. Linux Networker server. Windows and Linux clients.

I can restore from a Linux client. But from Windows, when I open up Networker
User, the program sits there searching for a server and craps out saying it
couldn't find one.

Windows backups are working though. I must be missing something and it's
prolly something really stupid. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Modify the shortcut properties for the Networker user shortcut. In the
box with the command line (I think it's labeled Target) add a -s
followed by your server's name outside of the double quotes. Make sure
you have exactly one whitespace before the -s.
