This seem to work perfectly to me, I'm using often the following syntax by
example:

comment: Last Saturday of month - full;
name: Monthly;
override: full last day every month, skip last day every year;
period: Month;
type: NSR schedule;

Along with this one, by example:
comment:\
"Full Each Friday night, in every other day. Skip last saturday of month";
name: Daily;
override: skip last day every month, skip last day every year;

Both of them work perfectly, and accept the override!
