The storage node has 4 filesystems - 2 ~1.5TB and 2 ~1.7TB.
It's running NetWorker 7.0 on Solaris 9
it's GigE connected incoming data is through the LAN.
Soon we will have it on the SAN but that will only help when staging older
savesets to tape when the threshold is passed because we have a large number of
clients that backup to it over the LAN.

What is the size of your disk device, and what speeds are you seeing? Ours is
Networker 7.1.1 on Clarion CX700 on 1GB LAN and SAN connected, but the data
rates are less than what we see on Tapes...
Legato is providing a Hotfix.

I assume you're talking about the NetWorker adv_disk media choice ??
We use that now and it works just fine.
