The nsrexecd service runs as LocalSystem by default. You should be able to
change that to run as your special account for SQL Server.

Subject: [Networker] Problem backing up SQL server

Hello All:
Networker server - Win2k, NW version 6.1.4
SQL Server -  Windows 2003, SQL 2000, NW for SQL v. 3.1.1.32

We recently added a new SQL server that we need to backup. We have a
special NT backup account that we use for backing up the SQL servers (we
have several). All of our SQL servers back up fine using this account,
however there is one box that Legato seems to have problems with.

If we log into the box using this special backup account, we are able to
kick off manual backups of the database, however if we log on using any
other username, it can't connect to the SQL database.

If we start the backup using the Networker administrator (savegroup), it
fails, returning the following results:

--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---

* bermuda.-----.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT 1 retry attempted
* bermuda.-----.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT Microsoft SQL Server Provider
error:
* bermuda.-----.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
Driver][Shared Memory]SQL Server does not exist or access denied..
* bermuda.------.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server
Driver][Shared Memory]ConnectionOpen (Connect())..
* bermuda.------.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT
* bermuda.-------.com:MSSQL$PROFXENGAGEMENT Cannot login to SQL Server
null.

The SQL server configuration seems to be correct, my question is that when
Networker issues the savegroup command, is it using the special backup
user that we created, or is it using some other command (like
System??)... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!
