I believe it was an AIX 5.x issue ...

Was it an AIX issue or should people running on Solaris also call up

For NetWorker 7.1.1 with AIX5.x, ask Legato about LGTpa64864
(case#3056220, #3091052). We worked this problem with Legato for a
year before finally getting 14 replacement binaries. I believe it was
a problem related to AIX5.1. I can't believe that they have not
suggested this for you to try ...

Currently have a case open...will post if I make any headway.

Hi all,

I've been monitoring this thread during a week-long installation of
AlphaStor. We're preparing to get our first LTO-2 drives online in a
storage node and now I'm getting curious and/or nervous about this
recent set of reports.

I'd like more info from those with problems, in particular what is the
manufacturer of your LTO drives. And also, who is _not_ having
problem with LTO and what your Solaris-based config is?
