David,

Sharing a drive in a library between NDMP and non-NDMP hosts is technically
possible with NetWorker, but not advisable. I never recommend it to my
customers as problems invariably occur. Also, my technical contacts within
Legato do not recommend it.

Subject: [Networker] DDS with NAS

Hi all,

  I need confirm this one:

It´s possible have 1 devices configured as DDS to one storage node
(windows 2000) and a NAS ??

I have only two drive, and I need use NDMP to get a backup for my NAS.

If I assigned one drive to the NAS, I can not get all data to tape at
night.

Then I´m not sure that it´s possible that my NAS and my Storage Node
Windows 2000 can use the same devices, using DDS.

Can anyone help me??

Thanks for your help.
