Hi Thomas,

It is recommendet by Legato to run te nsrim -X once a day. Best solution is to 
schedule it by root's cron
to run while the system is mostly idle. If the media index has not been checked 
for the last 23 houres, networker would run the nsrim 
in a so called mastermode, automaticaly. The disadvantage of this networker 
controlled nsrim-start is that in worst case this could 
happened while Your backup system is busy. And who knows how networker is 
reacting when cleaning up the mediadb when the 
system is busy backing up serious data...;-O

Hello,

running NW 7.1.2 my volumes do not expire anymore. With previous 7.x
versions in the deamon.log there was once a day the line:
         "nsrd: index notice: nsrim has finished cross checking the media
db"
Now in 7.1.2 this line is missing.
If I run nsrim -X manually the volumes expire.

Does anyone know something about this?
