Search the list; this has been brought up multiple times before.  I
don't remember the reasoning behind it, but only a full backup resets
the archive bit.  Otherwise, an incremental backup will backup the file,
but not reset the bit.  Making the variable change above addresses this,
but can open you up to other data loss, especially if this is done on a
file server that takes uploaded/synchronized files from other clients.
I'd recommend reading up on the issue more and decide which is safest in
your environment.
