Hi,

This is possible to do but about as unsupported as you can get! What you
need is a Linux NetWorker machine as a temporary stop-over point for the
media indexes. What you do is:

- backup your bootstrap to a file device on your UNIX server
- tar the file device and ftp to your Linux server (I've used my laptop for
this)
- untar file device
- create file device with same path in Linux NetWorker server.
- scan file device
- mmrecov last bootstrap (this will fail about half way through as there is
no client index for the NetWorker server but we don't care yet)
- stop NetWorker and tar the mm directory under /nsr
- copy tar to Windows and untar into the Windows NetWorker mm directory
- file copy the client indexes from your UNIX server
- start NetWorker and test !

Note I've only run this on test environments but I've had no problems with
the method. But don't expect anyone to support you once you've converted
everything across.......
