That's quite simple :

You have to monitor the target directory for the
existence of the required files (dump area).

Once your script detected the file(s) to be there,
use a fuser on it, to be sure the file to not
be accessed.

At that stage, move the file from dump area 
to staging area (to be sure the file to not be touched
anymore) and then call save command from the client
specifying pool (-b), client (-c) and retention policies
(-w and -e(before 613)/-y (after 613).

If you want to be sure, you can call mminfo to be sure
the backup to be "CB" completed/browsable before 
emtying staging location.

Hi All :

I know I can use savepnpc to run pre and post scripts.  But, I need to
start my backup based on a process or on a file arrival. In other words,
if
the process is not completed, please do not start the backup, or if the
file is not ready, do  not start the backup.

How can I achive this.
