A directed recover implies a recovery to a separate directory, rather
than a host redirection.

You can achieve your objective by;

nfs exporting from host B the filesystem you want the restore to be
directed to.
mount your exported filesystem on host A

Carry out a redirected recovery, specifying the host B filesystem as to
the
location of the recovery

Unmount your filesystem from host A.
unexport your filesystem on host B

hello,

i am fetching the doc but i cannot find how to do a directed recover in
unix .

By directed recover, i mean , being connected to computer A ( unix
),restoring files from computer B into computer B.

All i can find is recover -c computerB in command line but it restores

files from computerB to computerA.

TIA

Francis
